NHCM Ministries

Here at New Hope Christian Ministries we are striving to give you and your family the Spiritual structure that is needed to walk this christian life.  We achieve this through the various ministries here at NHCM.  Ministries are as follows:

Men's Ministry - The Men’s Ministry is dedicated to providing and helping men be the godly men God calls them to be through quality programs, instruction and events designed to break down the barriers that hinder the natural and spiritual growth of men. The NHCM Men’s Ministry has been blessed by God in motivating young and mature men with activities that men like to do. This brings them together and creates a sense of fellowship and community.

Women's Ministry - It is the mission of the Women’s Ministry to inspire women to walk in their destiny and to take their rightful place in the kingdom. Through the effort of Women in Spirit Dedicated to our Ministry (W.I.S.D.O.M), as the name implies, women become informed, empowered, and inspired by the Word of God. Totally depending on God no matter what issues and struggles women face, and in every case we come out winners each and every time. The Women’s Ministry endeavors to lead women into a deeper connection with God and each other as we work, serve and fellowship; therefore, a deeper spirit of unity and teamwork among the sisterhood is attained.

Missionary Ministry - In obedience to Jesus Christ, this ministry shares the good news of Jesus Christ through the work of God. The Missionary Ministry is committed to being holy people of God in the world and to building His church through evangelism and discipleship. The NHCM Missionary Ministry is a diverse community of believers committed to the transformation of lives and is active, innovative and responsive to the in-reach and out-reaches needs of our members and our community. The Missionary Ministry exemplifies love through its charitable work.

Usher/Greeters Ministry - Are anointed and equipped doorkeepers in the house of God that minister hospitality and caring in the church. They serve the body of Christ in the same spirit of excellence exemplified by our Pastors, ensuring every guest and each member is privileged to worship in an atmosphere conducive to the manifestation of the Holy Spirit. The Usher/Greeter Ministry lovingly greets each visitor and member who enters the church to prepare them for an active worship experience through our ministering of hospitality.

Pastor's Aide Ministry - This ministry serves the Pastors and makes sure their personal needs are met, by making sure their surroundings are pleasant and to walk humbly with them, as they serve God. The Pastor’s Aide mission is to cause our Pastors to shine for the Glory of God as they reach out in helping others. We care for our Pastors and assist with their needs, for they are God’s most valuable resources.

Comfort Ministry - The Comfort Ministry is a group of compassionate servant leaders who provide comfort and support during illness and bereavement through visitations, cards, and telephone calls. This group provides a spiritual connection to God with care and concern through this benevolent ministry.

Media Ministry - It is through this ministry that the Gospel of Jesus is disseminated using the vehicle of media. The Media Ministry oversees the audio, video, external/internal communication and website functions for the church. This ministry also duplicates video and audio recordings of services and events that are available for a nominal charge and for those who cannot attend services at the church.

Music Ministry - The Music Ministry is responsible and dedicated to leading all that are present into Praise and Worship to the Lord. Our music ministry assists the church in fulfilling the scripture that states that we are to make a joyful noise to the Lord. Those in the music ministry share their musical ability they have to Glorify God. The music ministry has the task of setting the tone for the service and the atmosphere for deliverance. It is our responsibility to condition the hearts of the congregation and make them ready to receive the anointed word from God.

Christian Education - This ministry is focused on spiritual development through our Sunday School, weekly Bible Teaching, New Members Classes and Evangelism Training. The Christian Education Ministry follows the truth that “…faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.” The ministry provides sound Bible-based teaching from the Word of God with the goal of every student developing into a mature believer who is “…not swayed by every wind of doctrine.” The goal of the Christian Education Ministry is to provide an educational outlet to the church ministries by planning, conducting, and evaluating a Christian education program that will train others to work in God's ministries.

Facilities / Maintenance Ministry - Our Facilities and Maintenance Ministry provide routine and general maintenance so we are good stewards of the facility the Lord has given us. This ministry is responsible for the beauty and care of the building and grounds and ensures that every area of the church is prepared and functioning in excellence for all services and events.

Intercessory Prayer Ministry - This ministry consists of the intercessors or "watchmen on the wall" who have been impressed to pray for a certain urgent need. It is our hope that through our fervent and effectual prayers that lives are impacted daily and souls are saved for the Kingdom of God. This ministry invites those who have a prayer request to contact our Intercessory Prayer Warriors.

Outreach Ministry - The Outreach Ministry has a strong commitment to serve others. Outreach at NHCM is committed to serve the Lord by making outreach an integral part of life in our church community. Our Outreach Ministry helps fulfill and facilitate the vision of NHCM and reach the unchurched and unsaved through unique, creative, structured events and activities designed to present the Gospel of Christ. We are committed to doing as Jesus told us, by carrying His love and compassion beyond the boundaries of the church to feed the hungry, care for the sick, clothe and shelter the poor and visit prisoners, it is as if we are showing that kindness to Him. This ministry also provides spiritual support and Godly encouragement to all.

Youth Ministry - This forward thinking ministry addresses the emotional, social, and spiritual needs facing our youth today. The youth ministry incorporates a variety of activities and exciting events to help young people build positive relationships and develop support systems to become all that they can be through Christ. It is through this ministry that NHCM strives to develop the champion within our young people so they can exercise their God given dominion and authority in their daily lives.

Evangelism Ministry - This ministry prepares NHCM members to follow the great commission by instructing saints on how to evangelize. The Evangelism Ministry exists to encourage and equip believers to share the love of God, model that love and win people to Christ. Our goal is to answer people’s questions about Christianity. This is a very rewarding ministry dedicated to lead the Lost to the Lord, and to equip and strengthen the Body of Christ.

Armor Bearers Ministry - Armor Bearers serve the Pastors of NHCM through the calling of God, by praying, assisting, protecting, interceding, and supporting, while displaying an attitude of faith, peace, respect and submission.
